Gift of Tongues:
A gift of the Holy Ghost that allows inspired individuals to speak in, understand, or interpret unfamiliar languages. We believe in the gift of tongues.
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come:
As Missionary Moms – we are all trying to come up with creative ways to send a little love from home to our sons and daughters serving so diligently far away from home. With this box I wanted to send a little ‘Spiritual’ (Gift of Tongues) along with something ‘Fun’ (100 Day Mission Countdown) chuck full of crazy candy and food that would rattle my sons taste buds as he finished the last 100 days of his mission. I’m sure the Elders in his apartment will all love the yummies too!
The End Is Near!!! It’s always so fun to see the pictures my son sends home of he and his companions opening up these crazy boxes decorated in whatever the theme of box is! Most of the boxes I mailed were 12X12X8 which meant the flap size was just under 12X6 so you can simply cut one piece of 12X12 scrapbook paper in half for each flap.
For the 100 Day Mission Countdown Box I used four 12X12 sheets of Candy Dots Sugar Coated Cardstock Scrapbook Paper from the Doodlebug Design company in the following colors: #3305 Swimming Pool, #3304 Limeade, #3300 Bubblegum, #3302 Tangerine, all cut in half and trimmed to fit. I printed off the tags (provided above & below) on photo paper then attached them to the Candy Dot paper with Glue Dots since tape has a hard time sticking to glittery papers. Glue Dots are easily found at any craft store if you have never used them before.
