Monkey Box ~ We Love You Bunches!

Thanks A Bunch For Your Missionary Service!  We Love You Bunches!!!

Well I have to admit that this box was more of a 'Food' box centered around things that my 'Little Monkey' might want to eat since he has been out of the United States for quite a while now - but with lots of Spiritual Things thrown in!

I was surprised though at how easy it was to find 'MONKEY' items as I shopped around town.  My favorite find was the individual plastic Banana Savers that I found at the Dollar Tree Store!  Who would have thought!  (These can also be purchased on Amazon or Ebay.)

This Missionary 'Love You Bunches' Monkey Care Package kit is designed to give you a Quick and Easy way to send Your Missionary a Spiritual & Fun Care Package.  The Box Flap Designs & Printables have over 48 beautifully-coordinated pieces - available now on Etsy from the Missionary Box Moms.

This kit includes an 19-Page High-Quality PDF File Download for DIY Printables.

For Ideas to help you put together the perfect Missionary Care Package, how you can use each Printable, to find links to print General Conference talks and other stories to include in your box - look below!

Just Swingin' On By!  It's always so fun to see the pictures our Missionaries send home of them opening up their crazy boxes decorated in whatever the 'Theme' of the box is.

Most of the boxes we mailed were 12X12X8 or 12X12X5 which meant the flap size was just under 12X6 - so you can simply cut one piece of 12X12 scrapbook paper in half to cover each box flap.  (The boxes are Free from the US Post Office)  For the 'Monkey' box we used 2 pieces of 12X12 Scrapbook paper from The Doodlebug Design Company in their chevron patterned Sugar Coated Cardstock series in the following colors: Limeade and Bumblebee.  You could choose to just use 1 of the colors or your could also use 4 different colors if you want your care package to be a little more colorful.  We cut each paper in half - then trimmed them slightly to fit the box flaps.  We then printed off our MBM printables onto photo paper, cut them out and attached it all to the box with Glue Dots for durability.  You can find Glue Dots at any craft store near you or on Amazon.

You’ve Got Mail!!!  One thing we always included in all of our Missionary Box Mom Boxes was a personalized letter to each Missionary from each Mother.  For this 'Box' since it is mostly just fun food I didn't worry about explaining what I sent!    Many times over we have received thank you letters from our Missionaries - but the things they thanked us all for the most was the letters we included.  It’s just a little piece of ‘Home’ in a box!  So don’t forget to write!

Print Off the Following Conference Talks and Stories:
